Not "bloggers". Not "content creators". Not head-up-our-own-backside enough to call ourselves "influencers". Outcyders is a website that revolves around games and everything that makes them great.
Though we may be best known for our video game quizzes, there's more to Outcyders than just some smart trivia.
Never afraid to diverge from the perceived wisdom, you can be sure you're always getting the full, unfiltered story and the most interesting of opinions.
No cliques. No clickbait. Just the information you need.

One half of the site's editing team and quiz masters, Ian's been playing games since before he could even read - or technically, at exactly the same time as he learnt to read, as his parents promised him an Amiga 500 once he'd mastered it. They probably weren't expecting him to nail it in a few days.
A fan of pretty much every genre out there, and an avid collector of gaming devices and paraphernalia, there's nothing that Ian likes more than a mug that says Halo on it, a Damnation t-shirt, or an Animal Crossing toilet brush - if it's games related, then it must be cool.
Before founding Outcyders, you might remember Ian from such publications as our past guise Everybody Plays, Eurogamer, IGN, Videogamer, Pocket Gamer, Total PC Gaming magazine, Gamerzines, and many others.
Although you probably couldn't tell if you looked at her scores online, Sarah's actually been playing games since she was "diddy", having been reared on the solid combination of Tomb Raider and Rainbow Islands. A fan of anything cute and cuddly, and more than a little bit apprehensive when games use more than a few buttons (or both analogue sticks), Sarah likes her games with simple controls, and bright, colourful characters.
In 2018, Sarah was nominated for "Best Journalist" at the Women in Games Awards.
