Toy Soldiers Reduced

Xbox Live Deal of the Week (27/09/2010 - 03/09/2010)

Toy Soldiers Reduced
27th September, 2010 By Ian Morris

This week is another disappointment of the week - albeit less of a disappointment than last week (which consisted of one add on for Left 4 Dead 2 - and even then it wasn't even half-price. Wahey.) I guess this week we at least get a game cheaper - even if it was overpriced to begin with. So for this week only you can buy Toy Soldiers for the price it should have been originally! Bargain!

Toy Soldiers is what's known as a tower defence game, where you need to protect your Toy Box against wave after wave of enemy attack, by managing your finances and needs, to construct as effective a defensive line as you possible, in order to hold off the advancing forces. You can either play as an individual unit, taking the wheel (or stick, I guess) of a biplane, or leave the AI to do its job, and concentrate on managing, upgrading, and repairing your defensive lines. The units include cavalry and artillery, as well as biplanes and flamethrowers - all set against vintage WW1 toy dioramas.
